Intro
As Sr. Design Manager, I built and led Frontro’s design team while shaping the vision for its multi-platform, white-label ecosystem. Frontro enables content creators to launch fully branded mobile, web, and TV apps, giving them complete control over how they connect with, engage, and monetize their audiences. I led design across both the viewer-facing apps and the creator-facing CMS, establishing the design foundation for the platform from its earliest stage.
Goal
The goal was to prove early product–market fit for a creator-to-consumer model where creators own their brand, their audience, and their revenue. This required delivering polished, fully branded app experiences for viewers while developing a scalable Creator Dashboard that would enable creators to onboard, manage content, style their apps, and configure memberships without heavy operational support.
Process
I partnered closely with Product and Engineering to set strategy, define the roadmap, and guide the 0→1 design of Frontro’s two core products: the launched creator apps and the in-beta Creator Dashboard. I built the design function, established our design systems, and led the creation of DS2—a more efficient, scalable system that improved consistency, accelerated engineering velocity, and enabled rapid reskinning for new creator brands. Throughout, I collaborated directly with pilot creators to validate concepts, refine workflows, and evolve the platform based on real usage.
Result
Frontro’s first creator apps launched successfully across web, mobile, and major TV platforms, generating over $500K in revenue and reaching more than 10M active users. DS2 dramatically reduced time spent on reskinning, improved alignment between design and engineering, and enabled engineering to deliver the Creator Dashboard in a fraction of the time it would have taken with the previous system. With both products now in place, Frontro is positioned to onboard creators at scale and continue growing a sustainable creator-owned ecosystem.
